Public Viewing in the Netherlands
The Hague (Den Haag)
Are you in The Hague and want to catch some football? You're in the right place! Check out these locations to watch the games live. Just remember to call ahead and check their website or Facebook page – you don't want to end up in the middle of a bingo night. And while you're there, tell the team you found them through us – maybe they'll give you an extra high-five for it!
For the World Cup match between the Netherlands and Tunisia on 26 June, many hospitality venues in The Hague will be allowed to stay open longer than usual. Businesses licensed until 2:00 or 2:30 a.m. may remain open until 6:00 a.m. without applying for a special exemption. The measure was introduced because of the 1:00 a.m. kick-off and the expected demand from football fans. The city will decide later whether extended opening hours will also apply to other World Cup matches.
