The matches in Group A of the UEFA European Championship 2024 will take place from June 14 to June 23, 2024. Host country Germany will play against Scotland, Hungary, and Switzerland.
The opening match will take place on June 14 at 9:00 PM (CEST). Germany will play against Scotland at the Allianz Arena in Munich.

From the Group Stage to the Round of 16
The top two teams in the group will advance to the Round of 16 in the knockout phase. In addition to the six group winners and six runners-up, four of the best third-placed teams will also qualify for the Round of 16. The ranking of the third-placed teams will be determined by, in order: higher number of points, better goal difference, greater number of goals scored, greater number of wins, Fair Play classification, and finally the ranking in the European Qualifiers.
