2024 - Football in Germany
EURO 2024
The UEFA Men's Football European Championship first took place in 1960, with only 4 national teams competing. In 2024, the 17th edition of the tournament will take place, featuring 24 teams. The games will be held in Germany from June 14th to July 14th, 2024. The opening match is scheduled for June 14th, 2024, at 9:00 PM in Munich, with the final set to be played on July 14th, 2024, at 9:00 PM in Berlin. Following the group stage, where teams compete in six groups, the tournament will proceed to determine the 2024 Men's European Champion through a knockout system.

Public Viewing in the Netherlands

Public Viewing is a term used in Germany for broadcasting sports events in public spaces. This term gained popularity during the 2006 World Cup in Germany. In the Netherlands, we often just say "watching the World Cup". However, due to strict guidelines and laws in the Netherlands, organizing a genuine Public Viewing can be challenging. It is often easier to watch the World Cup in a restaurant or café.
